Volunteering
APEX staff is entirely Volunteer Based. No one collects a salary, and every penny APEX makes goes right back to the club.
As APEX continues to expand its educational and social opportunities, we need lots of help to make it all happen. Whatever it is you want to do, or you are passionate about, your voice and your work is valuable.
Volunteer Portal
Members who have taken one of our volunteer training opportunities should have received access to our Volunteer portal, VicNet. Volunteers can access the portal via desktop or by downloading either the iPhone or Android app.

Below is a description of our committees so you can be a part of your club! In each committee are a number of coordinators, and your chair can help you find the best fit for you!
AV/Tech Committee
The AV/Tech Committee is responsible for determining and maintaining APEX’s various audio-visual and technical needs. This includes management of our in-space technology, virtual studio setups, our concierge system, and our website and various other online resources.

Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee handles public-facing events for APEX, including representation at broader community events such as Pride, as well as Support Functions such as S.I.G.s.

The Education Committee is responsible for all educational programming at APEX. This includes all core programming (Monday Night classes and EDGEs), as well as specialty programming such as Weekend Intensives.

The Marketing Committee works with APEX Management and other committees to provide consistent branding, marketing, and communication for APEX and our events and to increase engagement.

The Member Experience Committee oversees most of the public-facing volunteer positions at APEX, including Dungeon Monitor, Door, and Orientation Volunteers.

The Operations & Logistics Committee handles coordinating the efforts to maintain and improving our and space and furniture as well as tracking and procuring supplies.
